Fair Play Policy

1. Purpose of the Fair Play Policy

Guess That Language is committed to creating a fair, enjoyable, and competitive environment for all users. This Fair Play Policy outlines our rules and expectations to ensure honest gameplay and positive interactions.

2. Cheating and Prohibited Behaviors

• No Use of External Assistance: You must not use online tools, translation services (such as Google Translate), apps, browser extensions, or any other aids to help identify languages, text, audio, or content used in the game.
  Play using only your own knowledge and skills.
• No Collusion or Teaming: Do not collaborate with other users to gain unfair advantages, share answers, or coordinate game outcomes in any competitive mode.
• No Account Sharing: Your account is for your personal use only. Do not allow anyone else to play on your behalf or access your account.
• No Multiple Accounts for Cheating: Creating or using multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards, claim rewards, avoid bans, or otherwise gain an unfair edge is strictly prohibited.
• No Exploiting Bugs or Glitches: Do not intentionally exploit bugs, loopholes, technical issues, or any unintended feature within the game or website to your advantage.
• No Automated Submissions: The use of bots, scripts, automation software, scraping tools, or any analogous technology to interact with the game is not allowed.

3. Respectful Competition

• No Toxicity: Do not engage in harassment, abuse, insults, hate speech, discrimination, or any behavior that creates a hostile environment for other players (see our Terms of Service).
• Sportsmanship: Treat other users, moderators, and staff with respect—both in game and in community interactions.

4. Leaderboards and Rewards

• Authentic Play: All scores, progress, and achievements must result from your own genuine play.
• Leaderboard Integrity: Manipulating, falsifying, or attempting to fraudulently inflate your standing on leaderboards is strictly forbidden.
• Reward Abuse: Do not attempt to claim or redeem rewards through dishonest means or false information.

5. Reporting and Enforcement

• Reporting Violations: Please help us maintain a fair community by reporting suspicious or dishonest activity through the appropriate channels.
• Consequences: We reserve the right to investigate, suspend, remove leaderboard positions, permanently ban or delete accounts, or take other appropriate action if this Fair Play Policy is violated.
• No Appeals for Cheating: Decisions regarding cheating may be final. We are not obligated to reinstate accounts removed due to cheating or prohibited conduct.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this Fair Play Policy at any time. Please review it regularly. Continued use of Guess That Language constitutes acceptance of the latest policy. For changes, see the date at the top of this page.
